We have successfully developed level 4/5 autonomous vehicles and are currently focusing on researching and developing drone monitoring technologies, receptionist robots, and autonomous driving systems.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated autopilot engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in cutting-edge technologies, with a primary focus on developing and implementing solutions to tackle challenges related to receptionist robot functionalities. As an intern at Phenikaa-X, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the robotics industry.

What to Expect

As an Autonomy sensor software engineer, you will be a key contributor to the system software that manages sensors for the most advanced and widely deployed AI Platforms for Autopilot. You will be interacting with members from the hardware and software teams in developing and deploying software at scale. You will influence both current and future generation Autopilot sensors and platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on integrating sensors like GPS and IMU into the Autonomy software stack.
  • Develop and maintain various Linux sensor device drivers.
  • Develop and bring-up the system software stack that runs on the Autopilot platform and interacts with various sensors in the car.
  • Develop telemetry tools in tracking the performance and functionality of the Autopilot sensor hardware and software.
  • Define the hardware and software interactions for our next generation sensors for fully autonomous car platforms.
  • Interact with the hardware and validation teams in bringing the next generation sensor hardware and software to mass production.
  • Write well-structured, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong C and C++ skills required.
  • Experience working on sensors would be preferred.
  • Linux Kernel/Driver/RTOS experience preferred.
  • Experience with embedded Linux programming preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
