1. INTRODUCTION
Phenikaa-X is a subsidiary of the Phenikaa Group, working on autonomous vehicles and industrial robotics. We have developed Level 4/5 autonomous vehicles and are currently building autonomous driving systems, drone monitoring technologies, and receptionist robots.
We are hiring a Navigation Engineer to build path-planning and navigation modules for our autonomous vehicles. You will work with HD maps, GNSS, and LiDAR/camera data to train, deploy, and evaluate navigation models alongside experienced engineers.
2. DESCRIPTION
- Work with HD maps, GNSS devices, and LiDAR/image data, and help train and deploy navigation modules.
- Research, design, and develop state-of-the-art algorithms and models for complex path-planning problems, focused on the Autopilot Navigation Module.
- Identify and collect relevant datasets and annotations to support model training and evaluation.
- Keep up with the latest research and developments in navigation and computer vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate navigation solutions into applications and products.
3. REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with navigation concepts such as motion planning, state estimation, localization, and trajectory-tracking control.
- Basic understanding of map structures and road networks, or geographic information systems (GIS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred skills
- Experience with HD map frameworks and vector-editing tools such as Lanelet2, JOSM, or TIER IV Vector Map Builder.
