What You’ll Do:
- Develop motion control software and algorithms for high-speed autonomous cars.
- Design, implement, and test existing motion control algorithms for high-speed autonomous cars with the autopilot team.
- Optimize controller parameters during the entire vehicle development process
- Research and develop novel algorithms for high-speed autonomous vehicles.
- Integrate the developed control strategies into the vehicle software system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and system engineers, to ensure successful integration of controller components into the Vehicle Motion Control system.
What we need to see:
- BS/Master’s degree in Control, Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience working on Control or Automation projects related to autonomous driving, autonomous systems, UAV,s or robots…
- Experience with motion control/ planning techniques such as trajectory optimization, robust control, model predictive control (MPC), optimal control…
- Strong programing skills in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++ or Python
- Experience in software development on Linux
- Passionate about autonomous technology (such as self-driving cars) and its potential for humanity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate concepts clearly and precisely
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience with a Ph.D in Control, Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- Experience in developing or integrating Machine Learning/Deep Learning or Reinforcement Learning techniques into the motion control system.
- Experience in development using ROS or ROS 2.
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Familiarity with open-source software stack for autonomous vehicles, such as Autoware, Apollo…
- Proven record of publications in top-tier journals or conferences in the Motion Control field.
