Phenikaa-X is a subsidiary of the Phenikaa Group, driven by the ambition to become a leading technology company in autonomous vehicles and industrial robotics in Vietnam. We develop cutting-edge Level 4/5 autonomous systems, robotics platforms, and intelligent monitoring solutions.
We are currently seeking a Mobile App Developer to join our Autopilot team. This role focuses on designing and building the applications that put our vehicles, fleet tools, and mobility services into people’s hands, from internal operator tools to customer-facing experiences.
2. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for our internal teams and customers.
- Build clean, intuitive, and responsive user experiences that work reliably in real-world conditions, including variable connectivity.
- Integrate apps with backend services and APIs, including real-time data such as location, status, and notifications.
- Work with the web and systems teams to define APIs and data contracts.
- Own the full app lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, release, store submission, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure app performance, stability, security, and data privacy.
- Gather feedback from users, then iterate quickly to improve the product.
- Document your work and the decisions behind it.
3. REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience building and publishing mobile applications (iOS, Android, or cross-platform).
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, app architecture, and state management.
- Experience consuming REST or real-time APIs and handling authentication and data storage on device.
- Ability to work independently: to scope problems, make decisions, and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, debugging, version control, and release management.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new frameworks and tools as product needs evolve.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred skills
- Experience with maps, location services, push notifications, or real-time features.
- Experience with both native and cross-platform development.
- Some backend or API development experience.
- Interest in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or mobility services.
